Before I started playing I was in a very dark place suffering with the menopause. I didn’t want to go out and do anything, I was overweight and hated everything about myself.
Fast forward 3 years, I play 4 nights a week, multiple games a night, made friends for life and the social life means I am out more than ever!
If it wasn’t for netball I probably wouldn’t be here now, so a massive thank you to everyone I have played with or played against as you have been a massive help in my journey to get to where I am now.
