What should we bring to the game?
- A drink and a great attitude! If you don’t have bibs, we can provide them on the day.
Do we need to arrive early?
- Yes, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your game if you can as to we advise teams to warm up and make sure they are ‘game ready’.
Are There Toilets and Changing Rooms at the Venue?
Yes! All of our venues have toilets and changing facilities, so you’ll have everything you need before and after your game.
Do We Need to Provide an Umpire or Scorer?
Nope, we’ve got you covered! We provide an umpire who will not only manage and score your game but also share advice and guidance if you need a little help. It’s all part of making the game fun and stress-free for everyone! 😊
What should we wear?
- Comfortable sportswear and supportive trainers is a must to avoid any injuries!
What can/can’t I wear?
We totally get it – your style is on point! But when it comes to netball, safety is always in fashion:
- Jewellery & Piercings: Sorry, bling fans – these have to come off before the game. Rings? You can tape them down if they’re a flat wedding band.
- Watches & Wristbands: These can swill be worn but not on your wrists – under socks and even in your sports bra if you want to keep tracking those steps!
- Nails: Keep them short and smooth to avoid accidental scratches. If they’re a bit dramatic, you’ve got two options:
- Snip them
- Rock some gloves
- Hair: Long locks should be tied back – because seeing the ball is kinda important!
